Savannah

The Savannah cat is a distinct, unique breed of cat derived from originally crossing a domestic cat with an African Serval.  The first Savannah cat created was in 1980.

The spotted and bat-eared Savannah is an affectionate, self-confident, athletic and curious cat. The Savannah cat is a very intelligent and is a super sized house cat with the ability to jump to towering heights.

The Savannah cat comes in a range of different colors, including Brown Spotted Tabby, Silver Spotted, Black and Black Smoke.

The overall impression of the Savannah is a majestic, tall and graceful cat with large solid bold spots and markings. Bred to resemble its distant ancestor the African Serval, the savannah has an exceptionally long neck and legs, large ears, firm muscular development and striking color and spotted pattern.

Spend time with this cat and you’ll feel like you’re on a Safari in your own home.
